How do forest fires effect the environment?

They effect the environment because when the fire spreads through the forest it kills the plants and the nutrients inside the plants that the animals eat. When the animals don't get their food that they need, they start dying and the more that die, the more they become endangered. Also because it kills animals automaticallky and effects the habitats and homes of of the animals.
